Infallibility of the Church

The Roman Catholic Church is a false religion and a false church. One thing the Roman Catholic Church teaches is that their church is infallible. Here is what it says in their own writings:

"The supreme degree of participation in the authority of Christ is ensured by the charism of infallibility. This infallibility extends as far as does the deposit of divine revelation."

According to their church and their own writings, they are infallible. Anything they say — even if it contradicts the Bible — is correct and perfect. Well, the question I would have for the Roman Catholic Church is this: if you are infallible and you do not make any mistakes, how come your church has changed its position on a variety of different beliefs throughout the years?

Just a couple of examples. Going back not too many years ago, Pope Francis had a young boy come up to him who was worried because his father had died as an atheist. The boy asked if his father was in heaven, saying his father was a good man. And Pope Francis told the young boy — do not worry, if your father was a good man he is in heaven. But the Roman Catholic Church used to teach that there was no salvation outside of the Catholic Church. And now Pope Francis is teaching that you do not even have to believe in God in order to go to heaven. That is a radical change in doctrine from an organisation that claims to be infallible.

Another clear example is marriage. Throughout history many of the popes actually got married. Of course in today's Catholic Church, as a priest or as a pope, you are not allowed to get married. And yet Peter — whom they consider to be the first pope — was married, and many of the other popes in the early days were also married. So the question must be asked: are priests and popes allowed to be married or not? Because the Roman Catholic Church completely changed their position on this. That is not infallibility — that is contradiction.

Those are just a couple of examples. Honestly, there are a multitude of different ways the Roman Catholic Church has changed throughout its history. Obviously they are not infallible if they have made mistakes and had to change their doctrine. And you simply cannot look at the Roman Catholic Church with any honest understanding of their history and believe that the church today is the same as the one that existed back then. They are not the same. They have changed on many positions.

They are not infallible. They have changed. They have contradicted themselves. And therefore, the Roman Catholic Church is a false religion and a false church.
